Our double combination beds may be specified in any combination of flat divan, profiling or profiling with variable height and may be specified in a number of styles and finishes as well as sizes to fully meet the needs of the users, carers and to fit in with their home. It is possible to specify solid oak; solid pine or upholstered finishes and matching furniture may also be purchased. These beds can be any length, any width, any height and made to look at home in your own home. We are able to offer separable halves that allow the beds to be moved apart. This will allow carer access to both sides of either half but will mean that the shared headboard will need to be fixed to the wall. Beds may also be specified with hoist access; side rails and strategically positioned grab handles. Theraposture offer a free home assement and product demonstration to ensure that the correct bed is specified.
Help and advice
If required, ensure that the beds will separate easily. For example, to enable carers to assist from both sides and/ or to ensure sufficient clearance underneath for the legs of a portable hoist.
