Product Information

Manufacturer's Product Description

With its non-slip feet Ability World's innovative new 'Wedge'© 500 Assistive Technology Mount was designed to position larger or heavier assistive technology, such as a ProxTalker, at a fixed angle. The Wedge 500 AT Mount is versatile, even more robust than Ability World's other AbilityMounts, yet still lightweight, washable and incredibly simple to use: Place your Wedge 500 Portable Switch & Tablet Mount on a table. Attach your item to the Wedge's nylon loop surface using self-adhesive hook coins or tape *. Five 22mm VELCRO® brand hook coins are included with each mount (but please see important note below about fixing!) The 4 rubber 'GripPads' (see related products below) will hold the Wedge in place on the table. The Wedge's hook & loop compatible, nylon loop surface means you can attach many other small items to the Wedge. Cables may be tucked inside the Wedge Sticky Feet: Supplied with 4 GripPads, which can be removed and repositioned to ensure best possible grip for the weight and size of the object you have attached to the mount. Dimensions: Front and bottom 50 x 50cm; Back 50 wide x 40cm. This gives you a front angle/slope of approx. 48o; the other 2 angles are approx. 66o, so if you want a steeper display you can easily turn the mount round. GripPads are 44 x 38 x 4mm. Important: Please ensure that you have used sufficient VELCRO® brand hook coins or tape to secure your technology item to the mount. Although one hook coin may be suitable to hold a lightweight switch in place, it would not be sufficient to hold larger assistive technology devices or tablets securely and Ability World Ltd accepts no liability for damage that may result from poorly attached items. The Wedge folds flat for easy portability or storage.
