Toys and other battery-operated appliances can be set up to be switched ON and OFF using any Single Input Switch and a Battery Toy Adaptor. For use with battery type AA, C & D. The adaptors 9LA12 and 9LA13 are sandwich disc type, the disc having an insulated inner layer. This disc is inserted between any pair of batteries or between a battery and a contact point, so that there is a break in the circuit. When an input switch is then plugged into the 3.5mm Jack Socket the toy, etc., can be controlled by using the switch. The toy's or radio's own ON/OFF switch must be switched ON when the adaptor is used. If you require the toy or radio, etc., to be switched ON for a longer period than you hold down the switch, please refer to 9LA10M Latching Switch or 9LE2 Multi-Function Latching Box and Timer.
