If you have a need for specialist footwear, we recommend you seek advice from a registered podiatrist or chiropodist. They will be able to advise on the correct type of footwear and support for you, and can also give you advice on how to care for your feet.¹

You may be eligible to have footwear prescribed on the NHS if you have a medical condition requiring specialist footwear.
