The Housebell Unit is wired into the house lighting circuit and causes the main overhead lights in the home to flash whenever the Doorbell rings. This is a very popular unit because of it's effectiveness throughout the house and avoids the need of running wires from room to room. Also, by simply connecting the Telephone Adaptor TPA3 or a Door Entry Unit DE4 (both supplied by Newetch) to the Housebell Unit, the house lights will flash whenever the Telephone rings or when the Door-Entry System is activated (This operates with dimmerable low energy light bulbs and standard bulbs alike).
