Help and advice

If the book rest, table or stand will require moving out of the way when you stand up, and putting back in place when you are seated, then the weight and manoeuvrability of the book rest, table or stand needs to be considered. Some floor standing book rests and tables have castors which may help to make it easier to move them. The ease with which these castors move over the floor will vary depending on the floor surface. For example, they may be harder to push on thick pile carpets.
