If you have low vision, magnifiers may help you to see a range of objects including labels, instructions, controls, correspondance, books and magazines. This section includes a range of magnifiers including manual glass/plastic lense magnifiers, video magnifiers and apps. The groups include handheld, body worn and desktop mounted magnifiers.
Using the wrong magnifier for a significant period of time can cause eye fatigue and physical problems. For help choosing the right magnification device consult a low vision service. Contact your local social services department or the RNIB Helpline 0303 123 9999 email helpline@rnib.org.uk, or use their find an organisation database to locate a voluntary group near you.
