Self-adhesive slip-resistant material
This section contains slip-resistant panels, strips and discs which can be stuck onto a surface to enhance grip or prevent sliding. Thus they may be placed around a cutlery handle or pen to enhance grip or under a mixing bowl to prevent sliding.

Help and advice
If the mats are kept clean they will retain their non slip quality for much longer. The cleaning instructions vary according to manufacturer but can be as simple as using soap and water, some are machine washable and others require specialised wipes. Some of these materials are no longer slip resistant when wet.
Alternative solutions may include kitchen utensils, cutlery, or pens with larger or contoured handles.
