Help and advice

If the mats are kept clean they will retain their non slip quality for much longer. The cleaning instructions vary according to manufacturer but can be as simple as using soap and water, some are machine washable and others require specialised wipes. Some of these materials are no longer slip resistant when wet.

Slip-resistant mats are not suitable for placing under hot pans, plates or other containers.
