Slip-resistant netting
Soft, flexible, slip-resistant netting is available in a variety of widths, lengths and colours and can be cut to any size or shape to suit requirements. The netting may provide stability in a variety of situations within the kitchen and for other household applications. Slip-resistant netting can be used:
- under bowls, cups or telephones to prevent them sliding across a smooth surface
- on a chair seat to reduce forward slippage
- under rugs

Help and advice
If the netting is kept clean it will retain its non slip quality for much longer. The cleaning instructions vary according to manufacturer but can be as simple as using soap and water. Some are machine washable and others require specialised wipes. Some of these materials are no longer slip resistant when wet.
