Help and advice

Care should always be taken when using any kind of step stool, especially if you have poor balance or mobility or you are feeling unwell. Long handled devices such as reachers or cleaning equipment may help you avoid the need to use a step ladder or stool. Read our advice on reducing the risk of falling on stairs here.
