Help and advice

Participating in games or sports can have positive benefits for people with disabilities. As well as the health benefits of physical activity such as lowering high blood pressure, maintaining a healthy weight and boosting the immune system, exercise through games or sports can also help you feel good, increase your self-confidence and provide an opportunity for social interaction and friendship.2,3

It is recommended that you consult your GP or medical professional before you participate in games or sports, especially if you have not done so before.
