Bath-fixed rails with floor-mounting

Image of Bath-fixed rails with floor-mounting

These bath-fixed rails are fixed to the bath and are floor-mounted. Some of the models are adjustable in height.

They are usually used to assist someone to step into the bath, or they can be used with other bathing equipment from a sitting position.

Help and advice

These rails clamp onto the side of the bath providing a vertical loop above the bath rim.

Rails that attach solely to the bath itself are not recommended for acrylic baths. Great care must be taken to ensure that the adjustable fixing mechanism, usually a screw system, is tight enough for the rail to remain secure, but not so tight that it damages the bath. Fixings should be checked on a regular basis and tightened when necessary.
