If you have difficulty getting to the toilet in time then a commode or portable urinal may provide a prompt alternative, freeing you from having to reach a toilet everytime you wish to relieve yourself. Commodes are available in a range of styles including metal framed, wooden, cane/woven and armchair. Urinals are available designed for men, women or unisex.

Some of these items may be used on a temporary basis, particularly if there are access or mobility issues going to the toilet, or be used while travelling.
