
These are a range of cushions with different aperture style openings for example, round, oval or horseshoe.
They provide comfort either by being air inflated or foam. Most of them are fastened onto the toilet seat but a few of the commode cushions sit on the top. Consequently they increase the overall height of the toilet seat.
These seats are designed to provide comfort and are not for use as pressure relief. Specialist pressure relief products are available but require an individual assessment from a health professional such as an Occupational therapist, district or specialist nurse.
