The Gemini has an extensive range of applications whether you are a family with a young disabled child, learning disabilities, dementia or simply ageing and infirm clients; the Gemini allows you to choose how you will bathe with ease, safety and dignity.
A simple bed type transfer for an ambulant or wheelchair bather onto the platform or hoisting from a ceiling track or portable hoist the Gemini is equally appealing.
Raise the bath , full of water, around the bather to the height chosen by the Carer and you have created a safe, secure, hands free bathing facility for your client.
Total variation in working height of the Gemini accommodates the tallest of Carers.
When bathing is completed, lower the bath, still full of water, and a use the platform as a drying area before the transfer from the bath.
You may use the integral variable height changing table independently or in conjunction with the bathing process - all to suit your needs.
Help and advice
Hire equipment can be a very useful short term or longer term option.
Short term use. This is usually for emergency situations. For example, after surgery and/or when it is likely to be a temporary situation. Also, it can be useful to try out a particular type of item through hiring, before making a long term purchase.
