Plugs

Image of Plugs

All of the plugs in this section have non-standard features which make them easier to use than conventional plugs.

Other products combine these with safety features to monitor water level and temperature. This can reduce the risk of flooding or scalding. Most have an option for using in baths.

Help and advice

The safety features of these special plugs are limited. It is not recommended to rely solely on these plugs in order to avoid personal injury or property damage.

Healthy adult skin requires only 30 seconds of exposure to water at 55 degrees centigrade before third-degree burning occurs. At 70 degrees centigrade burning occurs in less than a second.
