A few non-standard products that can enlarge the handle of the shaver or disposable razor to make it easier to hold. These can be slipped over the handle.
There are other products that improve a persons ability to grip an item by stabilising the hand.
Shaving is an essential part of a person's well being and personal grooming. Consider the part of the task that is difficult. Is it being able to stabilise the hand? Is it poor grip or reduced strength?. It may help to shave sitting down.
For example, using a perching stools and/or wall-mounted wash basin.
It may help to change the method by using an electric shaver which usually requires less precision. Or, if that is becoming too heavy, use a lighter disposable razor. For a person with coordination problems such as tremors, ataxia, or athetoid movements - stabilising the arm, or using equipment that dampens the movements may help.
Good lighting and/or a mirrors for personal use may help some people. If seated, a taller mirror may be needed (to suit sitting or standing) or a shaving mirror on an extended arm may help.
There are a variety of methods of enlarging the handle of a razor, or stabilising the grip.
