Tap turners

Image of Tap turners

Tap-turners in this section are suitable for wash basin and bath taps. Most types of tap turners are designed for a specific tap head type but some can be used on a range.

As they are colour-coded for hot and cold water they can be useful for people who are partially sighted or to increase safety awareness.

Help and advice

Tap turners can be a useful solution to assist a person to turn a tap on and off more easily.

Care should be taken when choosing a tap turner as most are designed for a particular type of tap.

They are usually colour coded for hot and cold and some have braille markings.

Some of these products can be taken on and off the tap more easily than others. This may be a consideration for those travelling and those in rented or temporary accommodation.

In the long term you may want to consider altering the taps or using a lever tap conversion kit.
