Wall-mounted rails which provide a support on both sides of the toilet available in various configurations to fit different models of toilet.
Rails are only as strong as the wall to which they are fixed and the fixings that are used. Many modern houses have internal partition walls that are not suitable for the installation of rails. Ensure that you are using the correct method and type of fixing for the material of the wall. If in doubt consult a qualified and experienced tradesperson.
If boxed in pipes behind, or to the side, of a toilet prevent the use of a toilet frame then these rails may be an alternative means of providing support. We recommend that a full assessment is made by a trusted assessor or occupational therapist to assess whether these rails are appropriate for your needs or whether an alternative solution is recommended. For more information read our guide to toilet rails.
