iLook is one of the most portable and affordable hand held electronic magnifiers available for visually impaired people. It's literally pocket sized and weighs only 70 grams. The ergonomic design and ease of use make it a natural progression from standard magnifiers with the increased clarity and sharpness you would expect from electronic magnifiers. The iLook shows full colour images as well as, positive and negative and even split screen images. Help and advice
The magnification range for these cameras tends to be limited relative to desktop video magnifiers. The RNIB state that as a rough guide if you require text sizes of over 1.8 cm high (72 point) it is unlikely that a pocket or portable video magnifier will display enough characters on its screen for you to read and a TV or PC connecting magnifier or desktop magnifier may be more suitable.1
