Wall-mounted kettles & worktop mounted taps
This section includes a range of wall-mounted kettles and worktop mounted 'hot taps' that dispense clean boiling water which can be used for hot drinks.
Most models are designed to be plumbed into the mains water supply so they automatic refill as water is dispensed. They can be located in a range of places within the kitchen, subject to the plumbing requirements.

Help and advice
These products are designed to eliminate the need to lift a kettle. The hot tap should be installed with the controls within easy reach and can be fitted between the hob and sink to provide access for making drinks.1 For help finding local competent traders, such as plumbers, who meet relevant standards you could visit trustatrader.com
As an alternative to wall mounted kettles and hot water taps you may wish to consider:
- Table top hot water dispensers which dispense hot water at the touch of a button
- Lightweight kettles also called travel kettles which only hold about half a litre of water and thus weigh less than traditional kettles
- Vacuum flasks which store, but do not boil, hot water and may be easier to pour.
- Kettle tippers which may be helpful if you want to keep using a traditional type of kettle but find lifting and pouring from a kettle heavy or difficult to use due to reduced strength or tremor.2
