Track&Talk is a convenient personal Tracker Phone that is tough and very reliable, yet small and light enough to slip into a pocket or handbag. Pressing a single button connects Track&Talk directly to the 3ARC Angels with 2-way speech and simultaneously, full personal details of the user will appear on the Angel's computer screen. This will contain all the information registered for the user, such as medical history and an agreed personal emergency procedure (with all contact details, including identity photos). This can save vital time, in a crisis.
Help and advice
Some of these products/services work with your existing mobile phone (GSM), and would allow individuals you have authorised to find your location to within approximately 50 metres. Other products work via GPS (a satellite based global positioning system) and will allow individuals you have authorised to find your location (if you are carrying the GPS product) to approximately 10 metres. Thus GPS sensor based products can be more accurate. However, the mobile phone based systems are often more reliable if you are indoors.
Several of these units offer the option of Geo-Fences. This is the possibility of entering a predefined area into the unit. If the user leaves this area with the unit then an alarm/alert is raised. Depending on the model this may involve a monitoring centre being notified or designated contacts such as a friend or relative being informed by a text message.
You may also wish to view mobile alarms that connect to help / call centres.
