Product Information

Manufacturer's Product Description

The Soloc Uno is a seatbelt solution for one-handed users. This might be due to a stroke, limited mobility or a limb difference.

How does it work?

The FlexiFix arm holds the buckle of the seatbelt in a ‘ready’ position, allowing you to bring the stud side to it and connect easily. The buckle closes with ease with the help of a magnet, which activates a physical connection in the buckle. Simply tighten the belt by pulling on the D-ring, in the same way you would usually tighten a lap belt.

To release the belt, simply push against the small lip or pull the pull tab. This allows users with limited hand function to release their buckle independently.

The FlexiFix arm remains in an upright position when the belt is not in use, making transferring in and out of the wheelchair much easier!

What sizes does the Soloc Uno come in?

The FlexiFix arm of the Uno belt is one-size. There several fixing holes to choose from, depending on the length needed. You can also purchase an extender plate to add up to 120mm.

The belt can be adjusted to fit on the webbing side of the belt, where it attaches to the chair. To fit this side of the belt, you will need to allow enough extra webbing to bring the stud side all the way to the buckle. You also have adjustability at the centre of the belt, by the buckle, this is suitable for daily adjustments for different types of clothing, etc.

The Uno belt is available with either 600mm or 700mm total padding. The minimum length of the belt with the 600mm padding is 720mm and the maximum is 1500mm. With 800mm padding, the minimum length is 820mm and maximum is 1500mm.

If your wheelchair doesn’t have holes already cut into the frame you can use one or more of our fixing options:

All Soloc belts are tested to ISO 16840-3 and ISO 16840-10 and are CE and UKCA marked.
