The Modular Seating System has been specifically developed to offer a highly versatile postural management system that can be easily adjusted to provide the occupant with the required level of comfort and support. The system currently offers one of the widest ranges of growth adjustments presently available in today's market. The Backrest adjustment offers up to 50mm of growth and the seat depth adjustment offers up to 75mm of growth. As standard the supplied footrest accommodates a knee to foot dimension of between 160mm to 500mm. The unique full length independently adjusted hip guides ensure correct positioning of the pelvis and hips at all times. The fully adjustable lateral supports offers height, width and depth adjustment thereby offering full trunk support. The optional Swing Away Thoracic Upgrade bracket makes it easy for clients to be transferred in and out of the seating system. As standard a multi positional ball joint headrest is supplied. The headrest can be adjusted laterally (side to side), horizontally (forward & back), vertically (up & down) and it can be rotated to suit almost any requirment. The headrest offers the following range of adjustments. Lateral: from Centre 25mm either side, Horizontal: forward 120mm, Backwards 50mm, Height Adjustment - Up to 190mm. We are able to manufacture specially designed headrests should a client have a more complex need. All our Modular Seating Systems can be supplied with a wide variety of Butterfly harness's or harness straps specifically designed to accommodate for the individual needs. A padded pelvic strap with an easily adjusted D Ring pull is supplied as standard, an optional Metal Buckle upgrade is available for those clients who are prone to strong extensions. Optional Pommel and Knee Blocks are available in either 3 standard sizes or as part of our bespoke measuring service. The standard Modular Seating System is available in 3 sizes 1, 2 & 3. In addition to our standard sizes we offer a comprehensive clinical service which allows seats to be manufactured to a client's individual requirements. Our bespoke measuring service ensures that even the most complex postural requirements are fully catered for. Our own manufacturing and upholstery departments are fully equipped to ensure that all seating systems are manufactured to the required specifications. We offer a wide range of fabric choices and colours to enable the seating system to be customised to the individual client's taste and preference. When interfaced to either a Tendercare Tilt & Fold Wheelchair, Mini Tilt Wheelchair, Snappi Wheelbase or Special Seating Snug Seat Frame & Buggy, the Modular Seating System has been successfully impact tested for safe transportation against International Standard ISO7176-19.
