Chair weighing scales
This section includes weighing scales that weigh a user while they are seated. Some are designed to accommodate the size and weight of a heavier user, They are suitable for adults, children or both.
Chair scales are designed with a chair style seat. The armrests may adjust to allow sideways transfer from a chair or wheelchair onto the scale. Controls will be counterbalance beam or electronic; some will show low battery indicator and have remote or touch control. Most have braked castor wheels; some have a footplate or platform.
Weighing scales suitable for infants and children are supplied with both a baby bowl and a chair.
