Bed jackets and dressing gowns

Bed jackets and dressing gowns

Bed jackets can be worn in bed to provide extra warmth. They are available in a range of fabrics and have front buttons, or tie fastenings.

If you are a wheelchair user, you may find that many dressing gowns are difficult to get on and off. A poncho or shorter style dressing gown with raglan sleeves may be more suitable. Raglan sleeves extend in one piece from the arm to the neck hole and the seam runs diagonally from the neck to under the arm. These may be available from specialist suppliers, or you may be able to make your own.
