Amba is a communication and organisational device created for adults who may be elderly, socially isolated, lonely, living with early stages of dementia, or have learning disabilities and living apart from their closest family members.

Features include 2-way video calling, messaging, daily itinerary with reminder system, photo album, time/day/date and weather information and an emergency help-call button on a simple touch screen. Features are accessed by intuitive icons (no keyboard) and was designed for those who are not comfortable with technology. Amba is safe and easy to use by limiting the User to simple-touch functions. The family network (in a secure family group) receive updates on missed reminders and appointments by downloading a free app to their phones and laptops. It creates lots of current things to talk about with elderly family members; a matter that sometimes can be harder than we think. Amba improves the quality of life of our loved ones, helps to prevent loneliness and brings families together when the challenges of distance, work or those with insufficient time prevent regular face to face contact.
